With Elisa Barzoi and Sunal, our Ayurvedic Doctor

the sciences of self-realization and self-healing

Life (ayu) is the combination (samyoga) of body, senses, mind and soul that is
reincarnated. Ayurveda is the most sacred science of life, beneficial for human beings
both in this world and in the world beyond.
Charaka Samhita, Sutrasthana, I.42-34

Yoga is first and foremost a science of self-organization. He is interested in spiritual practice, especially meditation, to take us beyond the pain and ignorance that we experience in the world. Yoga provides the key to any spiritual development. Ayurveda is above all a self-healing science that tends to alleviate diseases of the body and mind. The purpose of Ayurveda is to alleviate bodily and mental diseases and promote physical and psychological well-being.

But the ultimate goal of Ayurveda, like that of Yoga, is self-organization, the highest form of self-healing.

Ayurveda and Yoga together form a complete discipline that with extraordinary vitality and creativity can transform all levels of our existence, from the physical level up to the deepest spiritual levels of our being. Sattva, Rajas and Tamas, the qualities of Nature, limit the immortal soul of the body.
Bhagavad Gita XVI.5

In this retreat you will be able to discover your “dosha” (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), understand the Guna (Sattva, Rajas and Tamas) to cultivate Sattva, re-balance your body and mind according to your nature (Purusha and Prakriti).
